Because if Unitree runs Isaac GR00T, and LG runs Isaac GR00T, and Hitachi runs Isaac GR00T — NVIDIA collects on the software stack regardless of which nation's manufacturer wins the hardware race. The geopolitical narrative is real to LG. It's irrelevant to NVIDIA.

Cole Brennan: Wait — NVIDIA wins whether Unitree wins or LG wins.

Malcolm Reeves: By design. The platform is agnostic to national origin. That's not a bug in the strategy.

Cole Brennan: Which is actually — I mean, Figure AI saw exactly this and walked. They exited the OpenAI partnership in February 2025, started training Helix fully in-house. Like, they looked at the dependency math and said no. And Figure is one of the serious players.
